High & Low For January

My “low” this month was getting summoned to be a grand juror in Federal Court. Apparently, this can be an extremely lengthy process. I dreaded it. It was hanging over my head and stressing me out.
HIgh (2)_thumb[2]
My “high” this month was logging on to check when to report for jury duty and reading: “You do NOT need to report for jury duty. Your jury service is complete. Thank you for your service”. I haven't been that happy or relieved in a while.

  1. I can relate! I HATE when those envelopes show up in our mailbox! And oooops! You just reminded me.....my husband got one of those letters just before Christmas and we forgot all about it! Ooops! I better go find that letter!
And yay for you for not having to serve!

  2. The ONLY good thing about jury duty is that I can spend the day reading!

    1. Hi Laurie! Thanks for reading and commenting! Yes, I was trying to console myself by thinking about all the reading and writing I could do! :)

  3. My husband was actually called in when I was 9 months pregnant with our first. Once he explained that I was due at any moment, he was recused thankfully. But can totally relate and it is truly a pain in the butt. Just glad you didn't have to serve after all :)
